Headed to Winterfest in Bend

We had a fantastic long weekend in Sunriver over Valentines and President's Day. This has become an annual trip with our friends. Unfortunately, we missed the Gibbins this year. We enjoyed some good cheer, good friends, 3 mile walks, and definitely good laughs! We are already looking forward to Sunriver 2010'! I don't have too many photos as Karen received an answer camera for Valentine's Day and I mainly used that. I will update with pics soon

Bulldog Puppies!

She likes to snuggle in her cozy blankets...kind of like her mom! :)
Ruby's safe place is her bed
Cooper looking outside like a little kid who wants to play on a rainy day!

Ruby too tilts her heads when you talk to her like Cooper

My friends Shanna and Nick recently purchased a Bulldog puppy! I think Jeff and I are about as excited as they are. She is actually the half-sister to Cooper. It is going to be so fun! It's like custody--we can have Ruby visit part time. Keep an eye out for my photos soon.

Yep, that is how they usually act! :)
A fun and busy weekend was had last week. We headed up to Portland early on Saturday to enjoy our "pre-game" time with Happy Hour at Ash Street and Rock Bottom. It was a nice change from the usual Applebees and feeling rushed. We had another great game against San Jose with a big "W!" Mike joined us for his first Lacrosse game. It was great to hang out with Mike!
On Sunday morning the ladies planned a Baby Shower Brunch from Brenna at www.lacapitalesalem.com. We had a great time and Brenna received some cute stuff for the new Baby Girl which is due in March.
Tonight we are packing and getting ready for a five day trip to Sunriver with the Williams, Brackens and Garellis. I'm pretty sure there will be great pictures and stories to post when I return.

Happy Birthday Miss Vivian

On your birthday stretch for a sunbeam...
Reach for a star...
Go for a beautiful dream.
Pick out some wishes, no matter how far, or how hard to reach they may seem.
Cherish some hopes that are dear to your heart
Happy 5th Birthday Miss Vivian!

Happy Birthday JW!

Happy Birthday!
Men are simple things. They can survive a whole weekend with only three things: beer, boxer shorts and batteries for the remote control. Enjoy!

Adventures on the Max

Shanna with "Homeboy 1" and "Homeboy 2" I like the wine and the peace sign! Apparently Shanna's hand was too close to "Homeboy #1 and said get your hand out of my face...Shanna replied with "My hand is on my body" Shanna and Me--Good thing I had my DB Fire beanie it was freezing!
The group with the "Homeboys" Apparently, there were 10g's in the bag
Rose in action playing rock, paper, scissors
Good times!
The guy in the black jacket was the entertainment for the evening and started the games. Mary asked if she could hire him for a 5 year old Birthday parties.

You never know what to experience when riding the Max. Yes, I know it's free public transportation, but I have never had a dull moment. We ride the Max at least a few times a month, and always have great stories to share.
This past weekend was none the less. We enjoyed happy hour prior to the Jax game and then headed to catch the Max to the Rose Garden. Shanna catches the attention of many, even at the Max stop! These "homeboys" as they called themselves were hitting on Shanna and started talking about Obama and saw me taking photos of our group and wanted to join in. Too bad they didn't want to share their $2 wine! We made it safely to the game!
After a big W for the Lumberjax at the Rose Garden it was time to head out. Just when we thought the Max ride back to the car couldn't get any better...it did! A friendly gentleman asked if I wanted to play rock, paper, scissors. I replied "What?" he repeated himself. I passed and he went onto the guy sitting next to me. Needless to say, they started playing rock, paper, scissors and then within minutes everyone on the Max was playing, it was like multiple tournaments taking place at once. The hardest part was to keep your balance while concentrating. Always good times on the Max in P-town!
Until next time...
