Santiam Fun Run 2011

It's a family tradition, this was year number three!

Memorial Day Weekend-Trip to DB

Some of the best trips and memories and impromptu! We headed over to Depoe Bay on a nasty rainy day at home, who knew it would be gorgeous and sunny in DB. We played outside, had amazing "balls" made by Mary and then had an impromptu bonfire on the beach. As we are packing out the woods, makings for smores and beverages we run into Al and Julie, what are the chances?! We had a great time and the weather was perfect! Thanks W Family for the fun adventure, until next time...

Oregon Zoo

Family Fun Day was near and we headed to the Oregon Zoo. After trying to find parking we headed out 26 and took the Max train in. Clara was not sure of the Max, however, super social. Once in we hit the ground running, our favorite exhibit was the polar bears. After the Zoo, we jumped back on the Max and headed downtown for some lunch and shopping. Great day!

Iris Festival 2011

We signed up for the 5k and 10K Iris Festival Runs. Jeff was working on the morning of my run, so my parents joined us and hung out with Clara while I completed the race and with a personal best time! We then stayed for the parade, who knew it would be 2.5 hours longs! Clara and Eleanor enjoyed waving and saying "hi" to every float. Jeff was even able to watch the parade with us. I'm pretty sure this will become a new tradition.

Parent-N-Tot

Two months back we started Clara in the Parent-N-Tot swim classes. She is loving it, with the exception of being cold. She is doing bobs, torpedoes, floating on her back and even the water slide. We are going to continue these lessons into the next session.
