18 month well check
September 26, 2011

23 pounds 2 ounces - 25th percentile
30 inches - 10 percentile

Dr. Lace quoted that Clara is "brillant" with her motor skills and vocabulary. Clara's parents both chuckeled.

Ouch, Ochie, Owee

Ouch...day 1. Clara had a run in with the driveway and the driveway won. She even had her first black eye the next day.

Ouch...day 2. This time the run in was with the table in our entry way. Let's just say the table is bigger than her and it's rod iron. There was an goose egg within seconds. She took it like a champ!

I love how she is still smiling in both pictures!

Portland Firefighter Stairclimb

Jeff joined the CF fundraiser this year. It involved a fundraising and climbing 41 flights of stairs in turnout gear. Clara and I were lucky to be able to join him on this day. We arrived early to Portland, completed the climb and then headed to lunch with some friends. It was a great day and a great cause!

Field of Flags

We visited the Salem Riverfront Park on the morning of 9.11 to view the Field of Flags. Very touching.

Future olympian?

Two weeks ago we started Clara in her first gymnastics class aka "Wigglers" she is having a blast. We talked about doing this as this child is a little monkey in training. Jeff's hoping we will be able to retire early!

Labor Day Weekend - Stub Stewart State Park

We both had a four day weekend over Labor Day weekend and no plans! This is unusual for this family so Jeff decided to make plans. We headed up to a cabin in the woods in Vernonia. A great time was had by all!
